Rebuilding Shattered Lives

Supporting our heroes through the COPS charity

Care of Police Survivors (COPS) is a charity that supports the families of police officers and staff who have lost their lives on duty.  They provide practical and emotional support ensuring survivors have the help they need to cope with such a tragedy, and that they remain part of the police family as they rebuild their lives.

The Leus Family Foundation was keen to support COPS as Dmitry has a personal affiliation with the police force- his father is a retired policeman!  He was aware how diligently our police force work and how hard it can be on their families when things go tragically wrong.

“Our Foundation is so proud to be able to support COPS and all the invaluable work they do.  Our policemen and women are everyday heroes and I know, especially watching my dad work when I was growing up, how much of a commitment the job is for the whole family also.  Their counselling and support network is essential for the country to keep our force strong.”  Dmitry comments.

The Leus Family Foundation sponsored the COPS Winter Ball in February in Birmingham, which was a great success, and looks forward to working with the charity in 2021.

What they say

We are incredibly grateful for Dmitry’s and The Leus Family Foundation’s continued support of St George’s Hospital Charity and our Children’s Appeal.
Gardens and outdoor spaces are important for the recovery of all patients, especially children, and our hope is to make the newly designed Serenity garden a fun, engaging and accessible space for children and their loved ones.
